A Festival of Postcards!

If you’re a regular reader you’ve probably noticed how much I love vintage and modern postcards. I’ve built up quite  a collection of these and most of the time I use them as visuals for my genealogy and family and social history work.  Today I’m proud to announce a brand new blog carnival called:  A F e s t i v a l o f P o s t c a r d sI hope you’ll share a postcard (or 2!) for our premiere issue on the theme of  WHEELS.

  1. Evelyn, I’ve added your carnival to my Calendar of Events for May and will join you in your Premiere Edition. I’m also writing a post highlighting the new carnival. Great idea!

  2. I had great plans for getting a lot of things done today – until I got news of your new carnival. I now have postcards spread all over the house looking for the perfect one(s) for the premiere. I’m afraid this carnival is going to be so addictive that I never get anything done again. ;D

  3. Great Idea. I have a large collection of vintage cards from the Bewdley ON and Rice Lake areas. I find family in the RPPC cards regularly.
