Message from Alice M. Azure Can anyone provide me with leads to more information about the St. Cyr name that appeared in the above list?

The St-Cyrs are a family of French Canadian farmers who appeared in the 1901 census for Caughnawaga.

Caughnawaga genealogy, St.Cyr, Kahnawake, Sault-St-Louis

I believe them to be (not confirmed) the couple Louis-Pierre St-Cyr and Clara Desjardins who had a son named Albert St-Cyr who married Alice Desjardins (daughter of Joseph Desjardins and Virginie Chartrand) on July 1st, 1924 in Notre-Dame-du Perpetuel-Secours parish (Montreal, Quebec).

Louis-Pierre St-Cyr’s parents were Pierre St-Cyr and Josephine-Elisa Smith  while Clara Desjardins was the daughter of Francois-Xavier Desjardins and Marie-Louise Labelle. That couple  had been married at Montreal’s Notre Dame Church on January 20th, 1896.
