In 1911, William Edouard Horning (son of Jacob Horning and Marie Hutzel) and Emma Canadien Koneratanoron (daughter of Jacques Ariwakennhen Canadien and Elisabeth Konwarakwenni) were living in Caughnawaga with a daughter Liza. The household was headed by Angelique Jacobs and also included her grandchildren John and Edouard.

William Horning (who was from Newark, New Jersey) and Emma Canadien  had been married on April 25th, 1910 in St-Francois-Xavier parish.
