A federal Government school inspector, J. Westcott, is now in Caughnawaga for the annual visit to the schools of the Reserve. He will spend about ten days inspecting the schools and examining the pupils individually. Five schools have to be visited at Caughnawaga and St. Regis, the largest having thirteen classes. The inspection is made each year under the supervision of the Department of Indian Affairs at Ottawa.
