At the time of the 1921 census for Caughnawaga, Viateur Gregoire and his wife Clara Desgens were living there with their children Laurentia, Ubald, Roger, Aline and their nephew Benoit.

Viateur and Clara had been married in Caughnawaga’s St-Francois-Xavier Parish on June 30th, 1914. His parents were Charles Gregoire and Rose-de-Lima Denault while hers were Delphis Desgens and Caroline Leroux.

    I’ve never looked into this but there is this one possible couple in BMS2000 –

    Charles Gregoire married Delima Deneault (Denaut) in St. Edmund Parish in Ellenburg (ClintonCounty). on September 28th, 1874. Witnesses Joseph Trudeau and Jean-Baptiste Deneault.
