Note: Inspired by Isabelle’s comment below, I check out why the young man Charles Lacoste who died at the age of only 19 was buried here. The record at BMS says that Charles was the son of Francois Lacoste and Louise Racicot – perhaps a relative of his wife’s? It is intriguing that it lists him as a student of N. Coallier though.

    • Yes, I am hoping to find the story behind that some day. I’ll have to visit when the little historical building is open this summer.

    • I added some identifying information in the post – but it doesn’t solve the mystery of why he would be identified as a student of N. Coallier!
