Landry Family of Grande-Anse | New Bandon

Surnames: Boudreau, Gauvin, Goulet, Landry, Legere, Theriault

The first Landrys to settle in Grand-Anse were Omer Landry (son of Remi Landry and Charlotte Doiron) and his first wife Luce Goulet (daughter of Jean Goulet and Pauline Comeau of Bertrand, and his second wife Felicite Legere, Romain Hache’s widow.

The children of Omer Landry and Luce Goulet (m. 1818) were: Jean-Toussaint (aka John) (m. Genevieve Theriault, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Theriault and Genevieve Pinet, 1840), Antoinette (m. Auxibe Theriault, 1841).

The children of Omer Landry and Felicite Legere were: Luce (m. Osias Gauvin, son of Joseph Gauvin and Marie-Marthe Boudreau, 1864).
