Trying to track my roots back. The family names i am part of is -GODIN-GAUDIN-TARDIF-TODIF-VIOLETTE-Ouellet

Francois Violette (son of Charles Violette and Marie David Soudois married Genevieve Tardif (daughter of Jean-Baptiste Tardif and Marianne Dube) on January 17th, 1814 in St-Basile (Madawaska, New Brunswick). Francois’ previous wife was Marie-Luce Thibodeau. If I understand the record correctly, he had already been married to a Marie-Rose Cormier.

  1. Hi Evelyn
Just Found your post. I too am looking in to the Tardifs. I don*t think that we have the right Francois Violette since Marie-Luce Thibodeau didn*t die until 1823. i*ll will keep looking.
