Mathurin Dube was in Quebec by the year 1670 when he married Marie Campion in Quebec’s first parish (Ste-Famille). Like most early settlers, Mathurin eventually became a farmer however he also supported himself through hunting and fishing. The couple had 9 children including 4 children who had many descendants,
