Jean Leblanc (son of Clement Leblanc and Anne Febre) and his wife Euphrasie-Madeleine Nicolet were the founding couple of Leblancs in Quebec. They were married on November 21st, 1643 in Quebec and had seven children. The two began their life in Quebec with three years of service to Guillaume Couillard and his wife Guillemette Hebert as domestic servants.
