GUIMONT Louis Guimont crossed the Atlantic sometime between 1640 and 1652, but what is known for sure is that he settled on a farm in St-Anne-de-Beaupre parish and married Jeanne Bitouset in 1653

 


 

Louis Guimont crossed the Atlantic sometime between 1640 and 1652, but what is known for sure is that he settled on a farm in St-Anne-de-Beaupre parish and married Jeanne Bitouset in 1653. He died in an encounter with  Mohawks.
