- 3. The Algonquin Marchands in the region of Maniwaki descend from Louis Nicolas Marchand (son of Hyacinthe Marchand & Julie Lahaie) and Angele / Angelina Ethier (daughter of Michel Ethier and Tarcille Charron [Source: Jean-Guy Paquin].
