- 2. The Hudson’s Bay Archives have service notes for two Bastiens: Auguste H. Bastien and Isaac Bastien. August Bastien held several posts including storeman, stewan and Post Master at Norway House, Carlton House, Battleford and finally Fort Ellice. Isaac Bastien was a Middleman at Fort Nisqually.
