The Algonquin Scott lineage descends from Thomas Scott and Cecile Tchanana / Chanana through their son Jean-Baptiste / John Scott and his wives Catherine Commandant / Constant and Angelique McDougall (Source: Weskarini, Jean-Guy Paquin). 3. Jean Baptiste / John Scott and Angelique McDougall were an early Algonquin couple in the Maniwaki region [Source: Jean-Guy Paquin]. 4.
