Josephine Laforce

Armstrong Warisose

February 1899

August 1971

Notes

Thomas A. Laforce married Josephine Armstrong

on Sep 13th, 1940 in Kahnawake.

Note from Towanna Miller (Mohawk artist)

Warisose is the Mohawk word for Josephine. I know because my grandmother was also Josephine Delisle and everyone always called her Warisose (pronounce like Wa-re-so-say)
