Julien Riel (aka Julius Riley, Joseph) b. 11 May 1835, St Remi, Napierville. His parents: Enos Riel (Riley) & Charlotte Caille.

INFORMATION

This Julien Riel was born and baptized on May 11th, 1835 in St-Remi Parish in St-Remi, Naperville, Quebec but his parents were listed as Basil Riel and Charlotte Caille.  His godparents were Julien Riel and Appoline Caille.

They Passed Through Kahnawake: Dalvida Mallette and Amanda McCumber

Quebec churchIn 1921, Dalvida Mallette and Amanda McCumber were living in Caughnawaga with their children Jean and Lorette. Dalvida and Amanda had been married in Ste-Brigide Parish (Montreal) on July 22nd, 1879. Dalvida’s parents were Pierre Mallette and Delphine Dejean. Amanda was the daughter of Louis McCumber and Apolline Dupuis.
