Theriault’s Les Families de Caraquet and is now being gradually enriched with information from other sources. Joseph Goupil (son of Joseph Goupil and his third wife Barbe Poulin, daughter of Louis Poulin and Helene Chiasson)  and his first wife Cordule Brideau had the following children:

  • Charlotte (m. Osias Duguay),
  • Theotiste,
  • Victoire (m. Luc Lanteigne, son of Michel Lanteigne and Virginie Savoie)


Joseph Goupil (son of Joseph Goupil and  Barbe Poulin) and his second wife Rose St Coeur had these children:

  • Xavier (m. Marguerite Godin),
  • Louise (m. Isaac Robert, son of Pierre Robert and Emelie Albert),
  • Laurent (m. Domine Savoie, daughter of Daniel Savoie and Clotilde St Pierre),
  • Remi (m. Catherine Mallet),
  • Theodore,
  • Marie,
  • Domine (m. Michel Chiasson, son of Laurent Chiasson and Marguerite Caissie).
