The Pelletiers | Pioneer Families of Shippegan

Lambert Pelletier (son of Athanase Pelletier and Marie Claire Jean) and his second wife Julie St. Pierre (daughter of Joseph Dessein sit St Pierre and Julie Levesque) were from Quebec. Lambert first appears in the Shippegan records in 1839 when he’s mentioned as a carpenter and later as he sets up a sawmill. Continue reading

The Paquets | Pioneer Families of Shippegan

Jean Baptiste Paquet (son of Augustin Paquet and Catherine Tourangeau) was from St. Roch, Quebec. Jean Baptiste married Mary Marguerite Knowles (daughter of George Knowles of Norfolk, England and M. The Alberts | Pioneer Families of Shippegan

Isaac Albert (son of Isaac Albert and Osite Mailloux of Caraquet) and Marie Duguay (Germain Robichaud’s widow) were married in Shippegan in 1886. Their three daughters were (Sara (m. Elisee Gallant and Domithilde Poirier), Eugenie (m. Pierre Hebert, son of Joseph Hebert and Olive Mallet) and Cedile (m. Peter DeGrace and Constance Mallet).
