Jane Boulton), John George Begg (m. Julia Sturgeon & Annie Calder), Robert James Begg (m. Margaret Jane). Margaret Begg (m. George Mitchell). Charles Begg had worked as a labourer and then a slooper for the Hudson’s Bay Company and then a fur trader. He became fluent in Cree which was the first language of his wife Catherine Spence.
