Hebert Family Genealogy | Shippegan, New Brunswick Founding Families

 

Benjamin Hebert and Colette Scolastique Duguay are the first Hebert couple in Shippegan. He was a Quebecker and is believed to have been from the Gaspesie.

Their children included:

  • Dominique,
  • Joseph,
  • Angele,
  • Moise,
  • Isaie (m. Catherine Pelletier),
  • Angele (m. Vital Duguay and then Jean-Baptiste Paquet),
  • Francois d’Assis (m. Marie Robert),
  • Ferdinand (m. Sara Mallet),
  • Romain (m. Elisabeth Bulger),
  • Eugene (m. Marguerite Mallet).
