Thomas Smith (son of Thomas and Betsy Smith) was born in Liverpool, England. He and his wife Genevieve Robichaud (daughter of Jean-Baptiste Robichaud) had the following children:

Charles (m. Louise Duguay, daughter of Antoine Duguay and Edesse Albert).
