  • Misc.:  1. Western Metis Lafleurs descend from the French Canadian couple Baptiste Lafleur and Marie Forcier  who settled in Red River Country in 1831. 2. The Lafleur surname was introduced to Kahnawa:ke through the mixed marriages of descendants of the couple  Stephen Lafleur and Louise Perras.
