Nadeau m. Vandal| Evelyn in Montreal

My grandfather’s sister was named Rose Nadeau and married an Edmour Brouillette and had the same list of children. This comes to me from some notes my grandmother made on the family. They lived in the South Hadley, Holyoke & Chicopee, MA area.  My grandfather, Wilfred Nadeau, was born in South Hadley, MA in 1892 and may have been the youngest child. Their parents, Louis Nadeau & Louise Vandal were both born in Quebec. I haven’t found much on them and only have this from my grandfather’s death certificate & 1930 census entry.  Leona Eggleston

1. Louis Nadeau married Louisa Vandal on 12 Sep 1871 in the parish of St. Pierre in Sorel  (Richelieu – QC – CAN) Louis Nadeau was the son of  Joseph Nadeau and Esther Tanguay. His first wife had been Elisabeth Vandal. Louise Vandal was the daughter of  Felix Vandal and Louise Peloquin.

2. Joseph Nadeau married Esther Tanguay on 25 nov 1844 in the parish of St Michel in Yamaska (QC, CAN). Joseph was the son of Antoine Nadeau and Marguerite Desorcy.  Esther Tanguay’s parents were Francois Tanguay and Catherine Robidoux.
